Surrounded by the grandeur of the Cascade Mountains, Bridges Academy is located in a rural setting, approximately 3 hours southeast of Portland, between the cities of Bend and Sisters on the High Desert Plateau of Central Oregon. Our campus is situated on 35-acres and provides freedom from distractions and close to mountains, lakes and national forests, where students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of outdoor activities. On campus, students have access to an outdoor basketball court, volleyball court and Gist field, where students play team sports such as flag-football, softball, and soccer. A variety of community events are available in the nearby towns of Sisters, Redmond and Bend.

Morain House, Bridges Academy's 10,000 square foot residence, provides a safe, secure and spacious home-like setting with 15 furnished bedrooms, a large living room, weight room, kitchen, dining area, staff offices, and an outdoor patio. The living room provides enough space for students to gather and play musical instruments, popular board games, billiards, or just relax and interact with peers. An additional game room that includes popular games such as ping-pong and foosball is on the second-level of the residence.

Adjacent to Morain House is McOmber Hall, named after the founders of Bridges Academy, which houses the Schools primary classroom with individual computer workstations. With its pleasant lighting and overall warm and inviting feel, McOmber Hall promotes a supportive atmosphere for learning. Next to McOmber Hall is another classroom building, which houses a classroom where science classes are held and another classroom which serves as a combined study hall and library.

Our campus provides a rustic environment where students can focus on their emotional, behavioral and/or academic issues without distractions, which is consistent with the basic principles on which Bridges Academy was built - "simple is enough."
