Can a student recover academic credits if he has fallen behind?

Absolutely! Credit recovery and catching up to grade level are the most common needs of Bridges Academy students. Our individualized curriculum and year-round classes allow students to work at their own speeds, enabling them to complete sometimes up to two years of high school in only twelve months and catch up with their peers academically.

Does the Bridges Academy support students who want to go
      to college?

Of Course! Many of our students attend college directly after graduating from Bridges Academy. All high school courses meet and exceed Oregon State standards for college level preparation. Upon successful completion of the required high school curriculum, students may take college-level courses from a number of colleges and/or universities through distance learning. Our faculty members also serve as academic advisors, assisting students in the college admissions process, including preparing for the SATs.
